Brake bias, also known as brake balance, is the distribution of braking force between the front and rear wheels of a vehicle. Adjusting brake bias allows drivers to fine-tune how the car handles under braking, impacting stability, braking distance, and cornering ability. A forward bias (more braking at the front) improves stability but can lead to understeer, while a rearward bias (more braking at the rear) can improve rotation into corners but risks oversteer.
